The Vector Control Unit will be pushing ahead with its fogging programme in four parishes next week.

On Monday, September 2, the team will target a number of areas in St. Philip. They are: Bayfield, Skeetes Bay, St. Catherine, Ragged Point, Marley Vale, Merricks, Peat Bay, Apple Hall, Lynches, River Land and the environs.

They will turn their attention to St. James, the following day, Tuesday, September 3, when they go to Upper Halcyon Heights, Halcyon Heights, 1st and 2nd Street Holetown, Jamestown Park, Morgans, Trents, Westmoreland, Lancaster and the surrounding areas.

The team will visit St. Peter on Wednesday, September 4, where Benn Hill, Rose Hill, Skeetes Road, Maynards Housing Area, Maynards Development, Maynards, Heywoods Park and neighbouring districts will be fogged.

The parish of St. James will be revisited on Thursday, September 5. This time, the Unit will fog the following areas: Crick Hill, Upper Weston, Mount Standfast, The Garden, Porters, Westmoreland and the environs.

Fogging operations will conclude in St. Michael on Friday, September 6, in the districts of Princess Royal Avenue, Pine North South Road, Collymore Rock, Pine Gardens, Pine Hill Road, Pine Plantation Road, Pine East-West Boulevard, Golden Rock Road, Stratford Hill, Phillip Road, St. Ann???s Road and the environs.

The Ministry of Health???s fogging programme runs from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. each day. Persons with respiratory ailments are reminded that they should protect themselves from inhaling the fog, while children should desist from running behind the fogging vehicle.
