Invest Barbados is ramping up its promotion of the island’s business and financial services sector in Europe and Asia, with the appointment of Fran??oise Hendy, to its team of experts.

The outgoing director of International Business in the Ministry of International Business and International Transport, will assume duties in London from Tuesday, March 15.

In welcoming Ms. Hendy to the organisation, Chief Executive Officer, Wayne Kirton, said her vast experience in treaty negotiation and legal expertise in the areas of international tax and investment would expand Invest Barbados’ marketing efforts in new and established markets.

As part of her duties, Ms. Hendy will be writing technical articles and conducting training in the area of international tax and the Barbados Treaty Network, for corporation staff and interested service providers in the international business community.

Ms. Hendy, an attorney-at-law, held the position of Director of International Business for the past eight years.??
