Members of the public will have all their questions on diabetes answered at a free lecture and interactive session to be held on Sunday, June 14, at the Hilton Barbados, Needhams Point, St. Michael, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The lecture will explore a team approach to effective diabetes care; nutrition; eye care; mental health; and other topics relating to the successful control of the disease.

Featured speakers include Vice-President of the International Diabetes Federation, Anne Belton; Clinical Coordinator of the Diabetes Centre, Dr. Diane Brathwaite; and Senior Medical Officer of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Kenneth George.

Persons are invited to come armed with their questions so they can learn how to live well with diabetes. The event is hosted by the Ministry of Health and the Barbados Diabetes Foundation.
