For the fourth consecutive year, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, and the Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination (EBCCI), will host a free movie night as part of celebrations for Heritage Month.

The event, which will showcase the work of several young Barbadian filmmakers, takes place on Saturday, June 18, in Independence Square, The City, at 6:30 p.m.

The movie night is intended to use film as a medium to promote the use of civic spaces in Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison for cultural purposes, and will highlight the link between film and heritage.

It will showcase the work of young filmmakers enrolled in the undergraduate programme at the EBCCI, as well as graduates of the programme. The public is encouraged to bring their chairs and blankets when coming to enjoy the work of the young filmmakers.
