Major upgrading will soon take place at Garden Land, St. Michael, as the Ministry of Housing and Lands carries out excavation work in the area. This work is part of its Housing and Neighbourhood Upgrading Programme.

It will start on Tuesday, July 10, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each workday, and last approximately nine months.?? The programme will involve connecting residents to the Bridgetown Sewerage Treatment Plant, as well as the provision of natural gas service to residents.

The implementation of these services will also see trenching of the roads within the Garden Land area, and, as a result, access will only be provided to residents.

Members of the public are advised to use alternative routes while this construction work is being carried out.??

The Ministry of Housing and Lands has apologised for any inconvenience this work may cause.
