The retail price of gasoline will be increased by five cents per litre, effective midnight, Sunday, July 13. As a result, the new retail price will be Bds $3.60 per litre.

The Division of Energy and Telecommunications, in making the announcement, noted that the retail prices of diesel and kerosene will remain the same, at $2.80 per litre and $1.80 per litre respectively.

The Energy Division explained that over the past month, the cost of these products had altered and after consultation with the Barbados National Oil Company Limited (BNOCL), it was decided that it was necessary to adjust retail prices for July.

This adjustment in the retail price is due solely to an adjustment in the CIF of these refined products.
