Effective midnight, Sunday July 5, the retail price of gasoline was increased by 21 cents, from $2.20 per litre to $2.41 per litre.?? The price of diesel and kerosene has been increased by 22 cents and 21 cents respectively, and will now be retailed at $1.98 and $1.17 per litre.
At a meeting on June 5, Cabinet instituted a mechanism to adjust petroleum prices on a monthly basis in keeping with international trends related to the pricing of petroleum products.
