Registration for the Edexcel International Advanced Level, General Certificate of Education (GCE) and General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) will commence tomorrow, Wednesday March 4 and close on Friday March 20.

Private candidates or institutions should complete registration forms, in person, at the Examination and Assessment Section of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St. Michael between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The examination fees, payable in cash at registration, are as follows: – GCSE Ordinary Level (per subject), $145.00; GCE English Language (per unit); $124.00 and GCE Design and Technology (per unit); $220.00.

For International Advanced Level (per unit), the cost are as follows: – Accounting $213.00; Biology, Chemistry, Physics $87.00; Business Studies $124.00; Economics $124.00; Law (Linear) $328.00; Mathematics (Core) $173.00; Mathematics $87.00 and a Local Fee of $30.00.

The local fee covers all examinations which the particular candidate may be writing in May/June 2015.??To facilitate the registration process, candidates should bring the relevant examination fees, their Barbados Identification Card or valid passport and a blue or black ink pen.

Candidates should choose their subjects in such a way that there will not be any clashes with other examinations. No alternative arrangements will be made in such cases, as clashes of subject papers with those of other examining bodies cannot be reconciled or adjusted by the Ministry.

Candidates are therefore advised to read the timetables for the respective examinations before registering. Copies of the timetable for these examinations have been posted on the Ministry???s website at www.mes.gov.bb. The timetable is also available at registration.
