Bridgetown Market Closing Early Next Tuesday

The Bridgetown Public Market, located at Princess Alice Highway, Bridgetown, will be closed at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, to allow for pest control treatment of the market.

The Markets Division of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and Water Resource Management apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Free Rodent Bait Distribution Tomorrow

The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health will continue its free distribution of rodent bait tomorrow, Saturday, April 16, on the compound of Massy Supermarket, Oistins, Christ Church.

Environmental health officers will be on site from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. handing out bait and educating the public about the importance of reducing the rodent population in order to eradicate diseases such as leptospirosis.

Men???s Health Group To Discuss Traditional Medicine

The Maurice Byer Polyclinic???s Men???s Health Discussion Group will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, April 25, at the polyclinic, Station Hill, St. Peter, at 6:00 p.m.
