Labour Department Continues Seminar Series

???Labour Legislation and Industrial Relations Best Practice??? is the focus of a series of seminars to be hosted by The Labour Department on Wednesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 7.

The seminars, which will be held at the Warrens Office Complex, Warrens, St. Michael, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., form part of the Department???s continuing efforts to promote greater labour-management cooperation in Barbados.

Health Care Discussion May 06

???Health for all? Facing the challenges of modern health care in Barbados??? will be the final presentation in the series which is titled ???Of Distempers, Diagnoses and Development: The Provision of Medical Services in Barbados.???

It takes place on Wednesday, May 6, at the Queen???s Park Steel Shed, Constitution Road, St. Michael, at 7:00 p.m. Members of the panel include Prof. Emeritus Sir Errol “Mickey” Walrond, President of the Barbados Association of Retired Persons (BARP), Mr. Edward Bushell, and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Joy St. John.
