NSC To Close Early On Wednesday
The National Sports Council, located at Blenheim, My Lord???s Hill, St. Michael, will close early on Wednesday, August 27, at 11:00 a.m.
This closure is to facilitate staff???s attendance at the funeral service of former colleague and National Cricket Coach, George Linton.
The service will be held at the Dunamis Outreach Ministries Spiritual Centre, Staple Grove, Christ Church, at 2:00 p.m., while the interment will follow at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church. Tributes will begin at 1:00 p.m.
The National Sports Council extends condolences to Mr. Linton???s family and friends, and apologises to the public for any inconvenience the early closure may cause.
Polyclinic Services To Be Affected Tuesday And Wednesday
The Ministry of Health has advised that the services of polyclinics across the island will be affected on Tuesday, August 26, and Wednesday, August 27, as a result of limited availability of staff on those days.
Staff will be attending training sessions and while all clinics will remain open to the public, services may be delayed. The ministry apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
