St. Thomas Post Office Re-Opens

Members of the public have been advised that the St. Thomas Post Office will re-open for business on Monday, December 15.

It will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Mondays, and from 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., from Tuesdays to Fridays.??The post office was closed on August 29 for renovations.

Light Aeroplane Club Extravaganza

It promises to be a day of fun and excitement when the Barbados Light Aeroplane Club, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and International Transport, hosts its extravaganza.

The outing, held in observance of International Civil Aviation Day, is expected to attract scores of aviation lovers at the Barbados Light Aeroplane Club???s South Ramp, Grantley Adams International Airport, Seawell, Christ Church, tomorrow, Saturday, December 13, from 10:00 a.m.

There will be activities for the entire family, including aerial tours for a small fee, light aircraft displays, water displays by the Barbados Fire Service, hangar tours, face painting, music and much more. Tasty Bajan treats will also be on sale.??Admission to the event is free.

NCSA Closed For Relocation Next Week

The National Council on Substance Abuse (NCSA) will be closed from Monday, December 15, until Thursday, December 18, to facilitate a move from its present location at the corner of James and Roebuck Streets, Bridgetown.

As a result of the move, motorists are also asked to expect delays along James Street during that period, and are urged to comply with directions from police officers in uniform.

In the interim, the numbers for the NCSA will remain the same ??? telephone, 429-6272 and fax, 427-8966. Staff at the NCSA may also be contacted by emailing info@ncsa.org.bb.

The NCSA will re-open on Friday, December 19, at its new office in the Armaira Building, corner of 1st Avenue Belleville and Pine Road, St. Michael.??Any inconvenience this move may cause is regretted.
