Revenue Parking System Installed At BTI Car Park

The Barbados Tourism Investment Incorporated (BTI) has installed a Revenue Parking System at its Lower Bay Street Car Park in Bridgetown.

As a result, the BTI has advised that all patrons, on approaching the entrance, should observe and follow all signage in place, as well as any direction from the car park attendants.

The BTI official explained that the automated system at the entrance of the car park would allow patrons to press a button, after which a barcoded ticket would be automatically dispensed.

???The automated arm will rise to allow access to the car park. On leaving the car park, patrons will proceed to the exit, where a car park attendant will scan the barcoded ticket to determine the fees to be paid to the attendant. The arm will automatically rise, allowing patrons to exit the car park,??? the spokesperson pointed out.

The BTI has expressed thanks to its patrons for their continued co-operation and understanding as the transition is made to this new system.
