The Ministry of Tourism???s offices at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, Two Mile Hill, St Michael, will be closed to business tomorrow, Friday, February 20.
This is to allow work to continue towards resolving an environmental issue.The Ministry regrets any inconvenience caused to members of the public.
Lecture On West Indian Women In Panama
Barbadians interested in learning more about the lives of West Indian women in Panama in the early 1900s are invited to a public lecture.
The lecture, which is entitled: The Silver Women: A glimpse into the lives of West Indian women in Panama, 1904 ??? 1914, will be held on Monday, March 9, at the National Library Service???s Main Branch, Fairchild Street, The City, at 7:00 p.m. It will be presented by Senator, Professor Velma Newton.
