Immigration Department To Re-Open Tomorrow
The Immigration Department, Wharf Road, Bridgetown, will re-open tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, after its early closure today as a result of an environmental problem in the area.
Persons who had appointments today are asked to call the Department tomorrow at 434-4150 to schedule a new appointment.
BRA Locations Closing Early Wednesday
The Barbados Revenue Authority has advised that its collection centres will be closed for business at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, to facilitate a staff meeting.
The centres affected are: the Pine, St. Michael; Treasury Building, Bridgetown; Weymouth Corporate Centre, Roebuck Street, St. Michael; Northern Business Centre, Speightstown, St. Peter; Warrens Tower II, Warrens, St. Michael; and Southern Plaza, Oistins, Christ Church.
All other sections of the Authority will close at 1:30 p.m. on that day.??The offices will re-open on Thursday, January 29, at the regular scheduled times. The Barbados Revenue Authority has apologised for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
