Workshop On Ebola For Tourism Stakeholders

Tourism stakeholders are being invited to attend an Ebola Sensitisation Workshop next month.

It is being organised by the Ministry of Tourism as a response to the increase in visitor arrivals for the cruise and winter season, which is currently ongoing.

The session, which will be conducted by officials from the Ministry of Health, will be held on Wednesday, February 11, at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

Call For Senior Athletes To Attend Meeting

Senior athletes who usually participate in the annual National Senior Games, and those wishing to participate in this year???s events, are invited to a meeting next week.

It will be held on Thursday, February 5, at The St. Michael School, Martindale???s Road, St. Michael, beginning at 5:30 p.m.??The meeting is to allow members of the coordinating committee to update persons on the plans for the 2015 Games.

Family Fair In St. George This Saturday

On Saturday, January 31, an explosion of talent will be on show when the Family Fair Under the Shadows of Bulkeley is held at the Bulkeley Factory, St. George.

Starting at 5:00 p.m., the event is being organised by the St. George Development Committee and the St. George Parish Independence Committee.

Patrons will be treated to art and craft displays and entertainment from residents and schools in the parish. There will also be dancing and guest performances from calypsonians.
