Notice For Jurors Of No. 5 Supreme Court
All jurors assigned to the No. 5 Supreme Court are asked to report for jury duty on Wednesday, July 9, at 9:00 a.m. instead of Monday, July 21.
Few Places Available For The World Of Work Training
Those young people who are interested in participating in The Productivity Council???s Preparation for the World of Work programme should sign up now, because only a few spaces are available.
The four workshops will be held for students of secondary and tertiary institutions, new entrants to the workplace and youth group members who are between the ages of 15 and 25.
The two-day training sessions will be held on July 15 and 16, July 22 and 23, August 12 and 13, and August 19 and 20, at The Productivity Council, 3rd Floor, Baobab Tower, Warrens, St. Michael. Persons interested in participating should immediately call Coordinator of the Programme, Roseann Morris, at 626-9416.
Participants will be exposed to such topics as How Do I Prepare for the World of Work, How Personal Attributes Contribute to Job Performance, and On the Job Functions. They will also be taught the do???s and don???ts of r??sum?? and cover letter preparation, and receive valuable job interview tips.
Men???s Health Group To Discuss Garbage Disposal
The Men???s Health Group at the Branford Taitt Polyclinic will host a meeting on Thursday, July 17 to discuss The Wanton Disposal of Garbage and the Possible Effects on the Underground Water System.
It will take place at the polyclinic on Black Rock Main Road, St. Michael, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The featured speaker will be Ralph G. Hermon Lowe.
