Lecture To Focus On Role Of Women In 1937 Riots

The role of women in the 1937 Rebellion will come under the microscope when the National Library Service celebrates Black History Month with a public lecture on Monday, July 28 at the National Library Service, Fairchild Street, Bridgetown beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Noted historian, lecturer and author Dr. Henderson Carter will deliver the lecture while opening remarks will be given by the Director of Commission of Pan African Affairs, Dr. Deryck Murray. All are invited to attend.
