National Disabilities Unit Closed Temporarily

The public is advised that the offices of the National Disabilities Unit located at the National Union of Public Workers Headquarters, Dalkeith, St. Michael are temporarily closed.

The department will reopen on Wednesday, July 22, at regular business hours.??The National Disabilities Unit regrets any inconvenience caused.

Change In Date For Jurors

Empaneled and waiting jurors who are assigned to the Number Five Supreme Court are asked to report for Jury Duty on Wednesday, July 22, at 9:00 a.m. instead of Tuesday, July 21, as previously instructed. The Supreme Court apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Electoral Dept To Close Early Thursday

The Electoral Department has advised that its offices on the first and fourth levels of the Warrens Towers II Building will close at 3:30 p.m. this Thursday, July 23, to accommodate the servicing of the UPS system.??The Department has apologised for any inconvenience this closure may cause.

Book of Condolence For Lady Springer

Barbadians desirous of paying their respects to the late Dorothy Lady Springer, widow of former Governor General and National Hero of Barbados, The Right Excellent Sir Hugh Springer will be able to do so tomorrow, Tuesday, July 21 and Thursday, July 23.

A Book of Condolence will be available for signing in the Administration building of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus from 2:00 until 4:30 p.m., tomorrow, Tuesday, July 21.

On Thursday, July 23 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., persons will be able to sign the condolence book at Grantley Adams House, BLP Headquarters, Roebuck Street, the City.

Dorothy Lady Springer died on Saturday, July 11 and will be laid to rest at St. Michael???s Cathedral on Friday, July 24, following an official funeral at the St. Mary???s Anglican Church, Cheapside, The City.
