Update On Speightstown Alive Event

All businesses and business persons in Speightstown are encouraged to attend a meeting with The Barbados Tourism Product Authority (BTPA) on Thursday, July 23, at 5:30 p.m.

The meeting, which will update attendees on the upcoming ???Speightstown Alive!??? event to take place Saturday, August 8, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., will be held at the Fisherman???s Pub.??All are encouraged to attend.

St. Thomas PIC To Stage Workshop

Members of the public are invited to attend the St. Thomas Parish Independence Committee???s (PIC) second workshop on community based tourism.

The workshop, entitled: ???Community Based Tourism and Its Benefits to You???, will take place on Wednesday, July 29, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lester Vaughan School lecture theatre. The workshop will be facilitated by Shanise Taylor of the Barbados Tourism Product Authority.

Scenic Tour & Picnic August 1

The Men???s Health and Hypertensive Groups at the Randall Phillips Polyclinic will host a scenic tour and picnic on Emancipation Day, Saturday, August 1.

The public is invited to join as the groups tour the Newton Slave Burial Ground in Christ Church, Bayley???s Plantation, St. Philip and Barclay???s Park, St. Andrew.
