Glebe Polyclinic To Close Early Tomorrow
The Glebe Polyclinic at the Glebe, St. George, will close at 3:00 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, July 24, to allow for maintenance work to be carried out at the facility. It will reopen on Monday, July 27 at 10:00 a.m.
Youth Pan Extravaganza
The public is invited to attend the outdoor annual concert, Youth Pan Extravaganza, being hosted by the Central Bank of Barbados, in collaboration with the National Cultural Foundation.
It will take place this Saturday, July 25, at the Church Village Green, Tom Adams Financial Centre, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.??There will be musical performances from the Youth Pan Combined Group, soloist Hashim Durant, Karivibes and the Youth Pan Ensemble.
Barbados Camp Pride Cook-Off Tomorrow
Children living with diabetes who are attending this year???s Barbados Camp Pride will show off their cooking skills tomorrow, Friday, July 24, when the camp holds its annual cook-off.
The participants, aged four to 16, will create healthy innovative meals using local ingredients only. The initiative is designed to help them take greater personal responsibility for managing their disease by practising healthy eating.??The cook-off takes place at 10:30 a.m. at the Springer Memorial School, Government Hill, St. Michael.
