Constituency Council to Hold Emancipation Day Celebration
As part of celebrations to mark Emancipation Day on Friday, August 1, the Christ Church West Constituency Council will host a number of activities.
Persons in the community will have the opportunity to participate in table top games like dominoes and cards, as well as enjoy music and movies. Activities will run from noon to 11:00 p.m., outside the Bonnetts Resource Centre, Bonnetts, St. Michael.
Throughout the day, persons will also be able to register for the Council???s Reading Programme, which will cater to children from the constituency between the ages of 5 and 10. This programme will run from Tuesday, August 5 to Friday, August 29, at the Bonnetts Resource Centre, between10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each day.
