Alzheimer???s Lecture Wednesday

Forty-seven million people are living with Alzheimer???s and other dementias worldwide, and to mark Alzheimer???s and Brain Awareness Month, the Barbados Alzheimer???s Association will host a public lecture this Wednesday, June 17.

The lecture, entitled: The Brain and Alzheimer???s, takes place at the St. Paul???s Anglican Church, Bay Street, St. Michael, at 7:00 p.m. It will be delivered by clinical neuropsychologist, Dr. Toni Nicholls.

Heritage Lectures On City Church

As part of Heritage Month, St. Mary’s Anglican Church, in association with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, will host a four-part series of lectures on the Church, its heritage and its environs.

The first lecture, entitled: The Amazing Belgrave Family, will be delivered by Ambassador Robert ‘Bobby’ Morris, this Wednesday, June 17, at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, The City, at 7:00 p.m.

The lectures will continue every Wednesday at the Church, at 7:00 p.m., and will end on Wednesday, July 8. Further information may be obtained by calling the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth at 621-2700.
