Maurice Byer Polyclinic To Close Early Tomorrow

The Maurice Byer Polyclinic at Station Hill, St. Peter, will close at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, June 19, to facilitate maintenance work on the building.

As a result, there will be no extended hours service. The polyclinic reopens on Monday, June 22, at 9:00 a.m.

St. Peter Pic Bus Ride

The St. Peter Parish Independence Committee (PIC) will host a bus ride themed: Discovering Our Gems, on Sunday, July 5, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The bus ride will start at the Speightstown Esplanade and travel throughout the parish of St. Peter.

Crop Over Oral History Project On

All are encouraged to be a part of the National Cultural Foundation???s Crop Over oral history project.

Interested persons are asked to share their experiences of Crop Over events and traditions such as Brams, Civic Day, church excursions, Service of Songs, Old-time Crop Over, Palin??? Fetes, Pangalang, Mr. Harding; the Decorated Cart Parade, Plantation Fairs, and Baxter???s Road Mall.
