National Senior Games Athletes??? Meeting
The National Senior Games Committee is asking all senior athletes interested in participating in this year???s games, to attend an update meeting next Tuesday, March 29.
The meeting will be held at The St. Michael School, Martindales Road, St. Michael, at 5:30 p.m.
Free Rodent Bait Distribution Saturday
The Vector Control Unit and the Environmental Health Department at the Six Roads Polyclinic, St. Philip, will join forces this Saturday, March 26, to distribute free rodent bait at Emerald City, St. Philip.
The exercise runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon, and persons experiencing rodent problems are encouraged to collect the bait. The environmental health officers will also provide information on correct baiting procedures and the diseases transmitted by rodents.
Closure Of Public Washroom Facilities March 25 & 27
The National Conservation Commission (NCC) has advised the public that several washroom facilities will be closed on Good Friday, March 25, and Easter Sunday, March 27.
The facilities are located at Barclay???s Park, St. Andrew; Half Moon Fort and River Bay, St. Lucy; Fitts Village and Paynes Bay, St. James; and Speightstown, St. Peter.??The NCC thanks the public for its cooperation and regrets any inconvenience caused.
