CTO Scholarship Foundation Applications Still Open

The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) Scholarship Foundation is still accepting applications for scholarships and study grants from Caribbean nationals pursuing tourism or hospitality studies at the post graduate level.

Prospective applicants can benefit from: Scholarships of up to US $12, 000 to study tourism or hospitality at the master???s level; study grants of up to US $2,500 to pursue tourism/hospitality studies at the certificate, diploma, associate degree or bachelor???s levels.

There will also be a scholarship of up to US $2,500 in the name of the CTO???s former Director of Research and Information Management, Arley Sobers, for persons working in the Ministry of Tourism or the Barbados Tourism Authority.

Applicants may also apply for a scholarship up to a maximum of US $7,500 in the name of the late Audrey Palmer Hawks, a former Director General of the CTO based in New York, who was responsible for marketing the Caribbean as a tourist attraction to travellers in the United States and Canada.

Prospective students have the option of undertaking their studies within or outside of the region. All application forms are available on the CTO website www.onecaribbean.org.

Completed forms must be returned to the CTO headquarters, Ground Floor, Baobab Tower, Warrens, St. Michael, by Tuesday, April 15.
