Maurice Byer And Randall Phillips Still Open For Extended Hours

Members of the public are reminded that the Maurice Byer Polyclinic, Speightstown, St. Peter and the Randal Phillips Polyclinic, Oistins, Christ Church, remain open for extended hours from Monday to Friday, between 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.

During this time, persons will have access to the general practice section where urgent conditions, routine care of chronic ailments, or non-life-threatening illnesses such as allergic reactions; minor lacerations; soft tissue injuries; minor injuries or sprains; and ear, nose and throat infections, may be treated.

Persons are, however, advised to seek medical attention at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital???s Accident and Emergency Department for life-threatening conditions or medical emergencies.

BRA Offices At Oistins Still Closed

The Barbados Revenue Authority???s (BRA) offices at Oistins, Christ Church will remain closed next week from May 12 to 16 as a result of ongoing renovations.

Members of the public are advised that they may pay their licence and land tax at any of the other locations of the BRA. Licences may be paid at the facilities in the Pine, St. Michael, or Speightstown, St. Peter, while those paying land taxes may do so at the Holetown, St. James and Warrens, St. Michael offices.

The BRA has apologised for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause.
