St. Michael Constituency Fun Day

Linking Communities Through Culture will be the theme of the St. Michael Central Constituency Council???s fundraising fun day, which will be held on Saturday, May 24.

It will be held at Combermere School, Waterford, St. Michael, from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Activities will include face painting, jumping tents and rock climbing, while other activities will highlight aspects of Barbadian culture.

There will also be a showcase of talent from the parish, along with guest appearances from popular local artistes. Admission for children is $5 and $7 for adults.

Public Invited To Breakfast Walk In St. Peter

The public is invited to the St. Peter Parish Independence Committee???s breakfast walk on Saturday, May 31.

Scheduled to begin at 6:00 a.m., interested persons are asked to assemble at the Speightstown Esplanade at 5:45 a.m.

The walk will then proceed to Church Street, the Maurice Byer Polyclinic, into the Whim Gully, then onto the Highway, across to Mile & Quarter, Ashton, and Station Hill, then back onto Church Street to end at the Speightstown Resource Centre.
