Dental Screenings At Ann Hill School For Child Month

As part of its continued effort to improve the oral health of all Barbadians, the Barbados Dental Association, will be embarking on a series of Dental Screenings at the Ann Hill School during Child Month.

Screenings at the Pine Plantation Road St. Michael School will take place on the following days: Tuesday, May 20, Wednesday, May 21 and Thursday, May 22, from 9.30 until 11.00 a.m.

Community Meetings For Chikungunya And Dengue Fever

The Environmental Health Department of the Ministry of Health will be hosting a number of community meetings for residents of Christ Church and St. Philip to educate them about Chikungunya and Dengue Fever.

The first meeting for residents of Christ Church and surrounding communities will be on Thursday, May 29, at the Foundation School, in Church Hill, beginning at 7: 00 p.m.

Residents of St. Philip and surrounding communities will have their Community Meeting on Sunday, May 25, at the Princess Margaret School, in Six Roads, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

The meetings are geared at discussing what communities may do to help prevent the spread of both diseases and are being held in association with the respective Constituency Councils.

Representatives of the Environmental Health Department will be on hand to answer questions and give advice.
