Chikungunya/Dengue Meeting To Be Held This Week
The prevention of Chikungunya and dengue fever will be the main topic this week, when the Environmental Health Division, in collaboration with the Christ Church Constituency Council, hosts the second in a series of upcoming community meetings.
The meeting will be held this Thursday, May 29, at the Foundation School, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Representatives from the Environmental Health Department of the Ministry of Health will be attendance to answer queries. All are invited.
St. Peter???s Residents To Display Talents At Show
Everyone is invited to the Diamonds From De Rocks parish talent show on Saturday, June 21, at the Alexandra Secondary School, Queen???s Street, Speightstown, St. Peter.
Organised by the St. Peter Parish Independence Committee, the show is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.??The event will feature several residents displaying their skills on stage as well as entertainment from other performers.
A minimum admission will be charged for children and adults. Food and drinks will be on sale and some lucky patrons will have the opportunity to win door prizes.
