Alzheimers Lecture June 17

The Barbados Alzheimers Association will host a public lecture entitled: The Brain and Alzheimers, on Wednesday, June 17.

The lecture, which takes place at the St. Paul???s Anglican Church, Bay Street, St. Michael, at 7:00 p.m., will be delivered by clinical neuropsychologist, Dr. Toni Nicholls.

Early Closure Of Court Offices

Members of the public are asked to note that the office of the Holetown and District ???E??? Magistrates??? Courts will close at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, and Thursday, June 4, to facilitate staff training. Any inconvenience these early closures may cause is regretted.

Magna Carta Exhibition Now Open

Members of the public have been invited to visit the Magna Carta exhibition mounted at the Supreme Court of Barbados, White Park Road, St. Michael.

The exhibition entitled: From Magna Carta to Commonwealth Charter, traces the legal milestones from the sealing of the Magna Carta to the signing of the Commonwealth Charter by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Marlborough House in 2013.??

The exhibition runs until Wednesday, June 17, at the Supreme Court Complex, Monday to Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
