Discussion On Praedial Larceny

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and Water Resource Management, in collaboration with the Royal Barbados Police Force and the St. George Farmers??? Co-operative, will hold a public discussion on the topic: Deterring Praedial Larceny.

It will take place on Wednesday, November 19, at the Valley Resource Centre, The Glebe, St. George, at 7:30 p.m.

Presenters will include Crime Prevention Officer, Station Sargeant David Griffith; and representative from Comprehensive Security Solutions Inc., Ryan Clarke.

Members of the public are invited to come out and share their views on this serious topic affecting farmers.

Registration Of Barbadian Students In The UK

As part of its outreach to the Barbadian community in the United Kingdom, Barbados??? High Commission is seeking to update the database of Barbadian tertiary students studying there.

To this end, the High Commission has requested that parents and guardians encourage their children to register with its office in London.

Students should submit their name, email, address, telephone number, degree programme and university to which they are attached, to awiggins@foreign.gov.bb, as soon as possible.

Transport Authority Inviting Public Comments

The Transport Authority is inviting members of the public who have comments or concerns relating to public transportation in Barbados, to contact its office.

Reports may be made in person to the Transport Authority at Kays House, Roebuck Street, Bridgetown, in writing, or by calling 427-1PSV, or 427-1778, during normal working hours.
