Postponement Of Tribunal

The Copyright Tribunal Hearing, scheduled for tomorrow Tuesday, November 18, at the Ministry of International Business, Baobab Tower, Warrens, St. Michael, has been postponed until further notice.

A new date will be set and the Ministry regrets any inconvenienced caused.

Meeting To Discuss Men???s Health Issues

The Men???s Health Association based at the Winston Scott Polyclinic will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, November 27, at 7:30 p.m.

Interested persons are invited to hear Dr. Dwayne Devonish present an evaluation of men???s health groups in Barbados.

Dr. Devonish, a researcher and lecturer at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, will examine the health needs of men; whether they benefit from participating in men???s health groups; and the challenges these groups face and how they can be addressed.

The meeting will take place in the Conference Room of the Polyclinic, Jemmott???s Lane, St. Michael.

Jamaican Author To Hold Reading Tomorrow

Members of the public are invited to hear Jamaican author, A-dZiko Simba Gegele, read excerpts from her debut novel, All Over Again, tomorrow, Tuesday, November 18.

The reading will take place at the National Library Service???s headquarters, Independence Square, Bridgetown, beginning at 3:00 p.m.

All Over Again is the story of one school year in the life of a 12-year-old boy living in the Caribbean. The novel netted Ms. Gegele the 2014 Burt Award for Caribbean Literature.
