Coastal Zone Management Unit Change Of Location

The Coastal Zone Management Unit (CZMU) is in the process of relocating its offices to the 8th Floor Warrens Tower II, Warrens, St. Michael. The move is expected to be completed by Friday, November 22.

The new telephone numbers for the CZMU are PBX: 622-1610, Director: 622-1611 and Project Manager: 622-1612.

BBS/COSCAP Hearing in December

Hearing of the Reference by the Barbados Broadcasting Service Limited with respect to the Copyright Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers Inc. will resume on Wednesday, December 11.

It is being convened by the Ministry of International Business in association with the Copyright Tribunal.

The hearing will be held in the Conference Room, 8th Floor, Baobab Tower, Warrens, St. Michael, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

It will be governed by the Copyright Tribunal Regulations, 2004 and will be heard by the Copyright Tribunal.

Market Day in Wotton This Saturday

Residents of communities in Christ Church East Central will have an opportunity to market their goods and services this Saturday, November 23, when the Constituency Council hosts a Market Day.

The event will take place in the play park of the Wotton Housing Area, and will run from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

There will be a variety of items on display and for sale, including leather crafts, clothing, fine arts, jewellery, culinary arts, small farming, and cosmetology. During the day, residents may also register for the second phase of the Council???s Backyard Gardening Project.

St. John Residents to be Honoured

The St. John Constituency Council has recognised those residents who have made a significant contribution to the constituency???s development, and will, therefore, host a Community Awards ceremony in their honour.

The ceremony will be held along with a Heritage Fair, this Saturday, November 23, at the Sussex playing field, College Savannah, St. John, from 1:00 to 10:00 p.m.

The event will feature a presentation of awards to Consett Bay fisherfolk, former cricketers, athletes, members of the church, and other residents.

There will also be an opportunity for persons to learn about places of interest within St. John, such as Consett Bay, St Mark???s Church and College Savannah. Additionally, there will be a kiddies korner, a karaoke session, performances by local entertainers, including John King, and food and drinks will be on sale.

The Council is inviting all members of the public to attend.
