BADMC Goes To Sizzle Street

The Barbados Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (BADMC), is inviting members of the public to their booth at the Barbados Food, Wine and Rum Festival also known as Sizzle Street on, Saturday, November 23, at Queen???s Park in Bridgetown.

Patrons who visit the BADMC???s booth, from noon until 8:00 p.m., will have the opportunity to purchase various fresh local meats including lamb, beef, pork, beef burgers and duck.

Cassava, breadfruit, and sweet potato flour will also be available along with grilled burgers and kebabs, and exciting tasty treats like cassava pot pies, cassava fruit cakes and much more.

Persons are also invited to participate in a competition between noon and 4:00 p.m. to win prizes.

BAS To Host Independence Farmers??? Bazaar

The Agrofest Secretariat, in association with the Barbados Agricultural Society (BAS), is inviting everyone to a Pre-Independence Farmer???s Bazaar on Friday, November 29, at the BAS, The Grotto, Beckles Road, St. Michael, from noon until 5:00 p.m. .

Inter-Parish Road Tennis Tournament Continues

The Sports in the Community Inter-Parish Road Tennis Tournament will continue this Sunday, November 24, at Bridge Cot, St. George.

It will start at 9:30 a.m. The initiative was developed by the Ministry of Sports as a way of promoting the discipline in all communities, thus fostering positive interaction among residents across Barbados.

Call For Fashion Designers and Models To Showcase Work

The Commission for Pan African Affairs??? (CPAA) Social Identity-Renewal & Integrated Upliftment Strategy (SIRIUS) programme, in collaboration with Pompasette Magazine, will host Pompasette Weekend on Friday, December 13, and Saturday, December 14.

As a result, local designers and models are invited to showcase their work during Pompasette weekend.
