Chikungunya And Dengue Lecture/Discussion
Residents of St. James North are invited to learn more about chikungunya and dengue fever, and how to handle these diseases, during a lecture/discussion which will be held later this month.
It is being organised by their Constituency Council, and will be held on Saturday, October 18, at the Weston Resource Centre, Weston, St. James, at 6:00 p.m.
Focus will be on making residents more aware of these diseases and the negative impact that they could have on their lives, as well as gaining valuable information on how to prevent contracting these illnesses.
Relocation Of Police Complaints Authority
Members of the public have been advised that the Police Complaints Authority (PCA) will be closed from Wednesday, October 8, to Thursday, October 9, to facilitate its relocation from its present No. 3 Musson Warehouse, Hincks Street, The City, location.
It will re-open on Friday, October 10, at its new location on the Ground Floor, Jones Building, Webster Industrial Park, Wildey, St. Michael.??The new telephone number for the PCA will be 621-0110, while the fax number remains 429-4057.??Any inconvenience caused is regretted.
