Public Service Professionals Urged To Write Papers

Public service professionals in various ministries and agencies are being encouraged to submit articles to the Research and Planning Unit of the Economic Affairs Division which is currently preparing Working Papers for 2013.

The Paper may be academic, one that discusses key policy initiatives which are not of a sensitive nature or a research topic of a personal choice. Documents which reflect work-in-progress or completed work will also be accepted, thus giving the writers an opportunity to receive necessary feedback.

An abstract or a short outline of the papers must be emailed to clarke-masonr@gob.bb or scantleburyke@gob.bb by Friday, November 8. Queries may be directed to economists Kelza Scantlebury at 310-1308 or Rhea Clarke-Mason at 310-1323.

The first set of Working Papers was produced in 2008 and this exercise is aimed at providing an opportunity for professionals to discuss key policy issues.
