School Starts At St. Mark???s On September 9

The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation has advised that all schools will re-open on Monday, September 8, except St. Mark???s Primary which will start on Tuesday, September 9.

This is to facilitate the completion of repairs to the school located at Blades Hill, St. Philip. However, teachers and ancillary staff have been requested to attend school on Monday, September 8.

The Ministry regrets the inconvenience caused to parents and guardians.

Christ Church Committee To Hold Food Drive

As part of its parish project, ???Wake Up, Wise Up,??? the Christ Church Parish Independence Committee is inviting the public to support and participate in a food and crop affair on Saturday, September 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., opposite the Massy Store, Southern Plaza, Oistins, Christ Church.

The Committee will be donating seeds, seedlings and soil to the public and a resource person will be on hand to speak on the importance of growing your own vegetables, fruits and garden herbs.
