Free Rodent Bait in Christ Church
Free rodent bait will be distributed by the Ministry of Health???s Vector Control Unit on Saturday, September 14, at Sonia???s Hideaway, Harper???s Land, Bartlett Tenantry and Taje Bar, Brownes Gap, Sargeant???s Village in Christ Church, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Persons with rodent problems are encouraged to use this opportunity to obtain the free bait. Environmental Health personnel will be on hand to give information on correct baiting procedures and diseases transmitted by rodents.
House-To-House Inspections on Saturday
Environmental Health Officers and Assistants will visit a number of districts in Christ Church on Saturday, September 14, between the hours of 8.45 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. to conduct house-to-house inspections and a survey on Mosquito Control and Dengue Fever from 8:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The areas include: Bartlett???s Tenantry, Brownes Gap, Sargeant???s Village, Sheraton Park, Sheraton Heights, Adams Castle, Regency Park and the environs.
All officers will be wearing identification badges and members of the public are urged to co-operate during the exercise.
