Fire Headquarters Closing To Public Next Friday
Members of the public are informed that the Barbados Fire Service headquarters at Level 5, of the General Post Office Building, Cheapside, St. Michael, will be closed from 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 26, to facilitate a private function.??Any inconvenience caused is regretted.
Free Rodent Bait Distribution Tomorrow
The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health will be distributing free rodent bait to the public, tomorrow, Saturday, September 20, at 1st Stop Plaza, 1st Stop Convenience Store Inc., Thorpes, St. James, between 9:00 a.m. and midday.
Officers from the Unit will be on hand to share tips with householders on how to keep their premises rodent-free.

Library To Host Lecture In Honour Of Senior Citizen???s Month
Growing Old Gracefully is the title of an interactive lecture to be hosted by the National Library Service on Monday, September 22.
Part of Senior Citizen???s Month celebrations, the lecture gets under way at noon at the Main Library, Fairchild Street, Bridgetown.??The presenter will be Ms. Penelope Howell, part-time lecturer at the Barbados Community College.??All are invited to this free event.
