Blackman & Gollop Closed For Remainder Of Week

The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (METI) has advised that the Blackman and Gollop Primary School, located at Staple Grove, Christ Church, will be closed for the remainder of the week.

This is as a result of an environmental issue at the school.??The Ministry regrets any inconvenience which the closure may cause parents, guardians and staff, and advises that the school will re-open on Monday, October 5.

Registration Department???s Second Floor Closed

Members of the public have been advised that the second floor of the Registration Department, Supreme Court Complex, Whitepark Road, St. Michael, will be closed for two weeks from tomorrow, Thursday, October 1, until Friday, October 16.

Filing for the Court of Appeal will be done on the department???s third floor. The Registration Department apologises for any inconvenience this closure may cause.

Vulnerability Assessments Postponed

Members of the public are asked to note that the Vulnerability and Capacity Assessments scheduled for Martin???s Bay and Zoares, St. John, during the month of October, have been postponed until further notice.

The assessments were being carried out by the Department of Emergency Management in collaboration with the District Emergency Organisation and the Barbados Red Cross.??A new date will be announced when it becomes available.
