Registration is currently on for Good Shepherd Primary School???s summer camp, which runs from Monday, July 6, until Friday, July 17.

Dubbed Summer Reading Comprehension Camp & Parent Workshop with a Difference, it will be held under the theme: Literacy Comes Alive.

It runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily, at the school, located at Jordan???s Road, Fitts Village, St. James.??Students, ages three to 11 years, will get the opportunity to engage in meaningful activities as they learn to read various texts.

Poetry, puppetry, story reading, dance and music are some of the planned activities.??There will also be a parents??? workshop on Thursday, July 16, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Visitors??? evening will be on Friday, July 17, along with a closing ceremony from 1:00 p.m.

The facilitators for the camp will be mainly certified reading specialists and qualified teachers, including the school???s principal, Monica Walton.??For further information on the summer camp, interested persons should contact the principal???s office at 417-5862.
