In light of the impending “national pause” from February 3 to 17, the Child Care Board (CCB) has advised that all government operated day nurseries will be closed from Monday, February 1, to Friday, February 19.
The public is also advised that the CCB’s office will be closed from February 3 to 17. However, in the event of child abuse emergencies, persons may contact the Board at telephone number 256-9664 or 256-9023, or call the Police Emergency Hotline at 211.
Parents and guardians are also reminded to ensure that they provide a safe and secure environment for their children during this “lockdown” period.
The Child Care Board thanks the public for its understanding, as it continues to work in the best interest of the nation’s children.
