Members of the public will be able to make their input to a ???Sustainable Energy Framework for Barbados’ when Government’s Energy Division mounts a town hall forum on Wednesday, September 14. It comes off at the St. Leonard’s Boys’ Secondary School from 7:00 p.m.

Topics to be addressed at the meeting are: a Sustainable Energy Framework for Barbados; Sustainable Energy Pilot Projects; an Energy Smart Fund; and Public Sector Energy Initiatives.

Earlier this year, the Government of Barbados entered into a technical assistance agreement with the Inter-American Development Bank that, among other things, calls for the design of a sustainable energy framework for this country. Wednesday’s town hall meeting is a step towards devising that plan.
