Persons interested in aquaponics are being given the opportunity to learn the skills necessary to start their own operations, through an Introductory to Aquaponics programme being offered by the Fisheries Division.

The intensive five-day programme features an online theoretical component, which covers all aspects of the aquaponics system, such as system design, fish and plant production, and business planning.  There will also be a practical component, which will be taught on an aquaponics farm.

Application forms may be collected from, and completed and returned to the Fisheries Division, Princess Alice Highway, Bridgetown. There is also the option to download the form by clicking here.
