The 35th Anniversary celebrations of the Government Security Guards Service will continue this month with a series of activities designed to recognise its work in providing security service to public sector departments.

On Saturday, May 14, Haematologist/Oncologist, Dr. Theresa Laurent, will present a lecture entitled: Lifestyles and Cancer Risks. It will be held in the Barbados Supreme Court Complex, Whitepark Road, St. Michael, starting at 4:00 p.m.

The following Saturday, May 21, there will be a cake sale at the General Post Office on Cheapside which gets under way from 7:00 a.m. and a fish fry on Friday, May 27, in the Defence and Security’s car park on Bay Street, starting at 5:30 p.m.
