The rights of tenants under the Freehold Tenantries Act and the Inter-American Development Banks Housing Project, will be the topics of discussion at a public forum being hosted by the St. Philip North Constituency Council, in conjunction with the Ministry of Housing and Lands.
The meeting will be held at the St. Catherine’s Club, Bayfield, St. Philip, on Sunday, June 5, at 4:00 p.m. Minister of Housing and Lands, Michael Lashley, as well as representatives from the ministry, will be on hand to speak on Government’s housing solutions.
The forum is the first initiative of the Council’s Public Education Program which is designed to provide residents with information on socio-economic issues which impact their lives.
