The Entrepreneurial Development Division (EDD) of the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation (BIDC), will be hosting two one-day workshops on food safety for small and medium-sized food processors.

The seminar, entitled Food Safety and Hazard Analysis and Critical Points (HAACP) for Manufacturers, takes place on Thursday, November 12 and Thursday, November 19, in the EDD’s Training Room, Small Business Development Centre, Fontabelle, St. Michael.?? The sessions will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day.

HAACP, is an international food standard required by overseas purchasers. At the end of the workshop, the entrepreneurs are expected to be better equipped to employ good manufacturing practices in their respective establishments.
