Harrison College took 10 scholarships in this year’s Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations (CAPE), followed closely by Queen’s College, which captured eight.

The scholarship winners from Harrison College are Rona Applewhaite, Shannay Bellamy, Rashad Brathwaite, John Ross Clarke, Najuma Commissiong; Nathan Lorde, Graeme Marquez, Aisha Moseley, Juana Reid and Alicia Sheppard.

Queen’s College’s scholarship winners are Kimberly Banfield, Nicolette Blackett, Nicolette Crichlow, Rihannon Estwick, Natalie Field, Melissa Weekes, Thomas Ward and Bentley Young.

Queen’s College also captured 10 exhibitions, with Harrison College and the Barbados Community College (BCC) both acquiring three, and Combermere two.

The exhibitioners from Queen’s College are Karisa Callender, Shaneese Grimes, Ayesha Harewood, Ashley Hutchinson, Julia Headley, Tina Ifill, Mary Ince, Alaina Parris, Amelia Small and Naam Thomas.??

Exhibition winners from Harrison College are Shierifa Joseph, Leandre Worrell and Michael Armstrong, while from Combermere, Shari Cyrus and Dario Welch won exhibitions. BCC exhibition winners are Kristal-Anne Ally-Clarke, Carl D’Aguiar and Kyle Smith.??

The Award of Excellence went to Stephen Evelyn of the BCC.??
