Vegetarian cooking, keeping fit and self defence will be the highlights of a free Health and Wellness Fair which is being organised by the St. Michael South Constituency Council.
The fair will come off this Saturday, June 11, at the National Union of Public Workers Headquarters’ grounds, Dalkeith Road, St. Michael, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
In an effort to raise awareness of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, representatives from various governmental and non-governmental organisations will be on hand to share information.
These include: the Diabetes Association; the Barbados Cancer Society; the HIV/AIDS Commission; the National Council for the Prevention of Alcoholism and Drug Dependency; the Family Planning Association; and PAREDOS.
The public is invited to attend.
